Day Camps give the horse lover a whole day around the stables and horses. Learn and educate the world of horses.

Safety Center is Number one. Our goal is to keep our horse lovers safe.
Our second goal is to make every horse lover's experience fun and incredibly enjoyable.
Our third goal is to help our horse lovers achieve their horsemanship goals -whatever that may be!
Ages: 5 yrs old - Adults 9 am -3 pm Fee $125.--
Throughout the school year and with Dane County Calendar, we host single-day activities similar to our Summer Program. You can choose to attend just one day or multiple days. The top of the page describes the activities that happen during Day Camps. No experience is necessary for these day camps. They are the perfect introduction to horses for novice riders. They are an excellent way for our consistent riders to add extra saddle time enrolled in our Horse Programs.

1/2 Day camp is geared towards the horse lovers’ ability and willingness. We evaluate their personality. We want them comfortable around the horses. Riding should be pure joy. You can choose to attend just one day or multiple days. No experience is necessary for their 2 hours of 1/2 day camp at the stables. They are the perfect introduction to horses for younger and timid horse lovers. Lose track of time and come and enjoy that one horse you will never forget!

Ages - Younger Children - 9 yrs old 2 hours Fee $70.--
It is a perfect place for your young horse enthusiast to learn about the world of horses in a safe and energetic environment. No experience is necessary to join the fun! Educational & Fun. This two-hour camp is the perfect time to hang out with the horses. The Experience helps young children learn the basics of horsemanship and get comfortable at the stables in a fun-filled, family-oriented environment.

Saving 15% expires on January 31st. = $488.75 per person/5 days
Save 10% expires on February 28th. =$517.50 per person/5 Days
Savings of 5% expires on March 31st.=$546.25 per person/5 Days
April 1st thru May 31st = $575.- per person/5 days
After June 1st, $600 per week. Per person
One Day = $125 per person.
Paid in Full with check or cash. This doesn’t include the Helmet fee.
I understand the cancellation policy of a non-refundable and nontransferable deposit of $400.— for five days. I must accompany this form to ensure my Horse Lovers are in the session(s) I have indicated. If the final payment is not made, I will lose my deposit, and La Fleur Stables and Madison Riding Academy may accept another horse lover from a waiting list. All fees will be paid on the first day of the Day Camp. Non-refundable for missed days.

Ages: 12 yrs old - Adults 3 Hours of Horse Fun Fee $125.--
It is designed to prepare horse lovers for careers in the equine field, such as stable general management and riding instruction. Find it beneficial to gain further knowledge and experience by completing. Great for that consistent horse lover at our stables that wants more to the horses. Must be over the age of 12 yrs old. You must be able to tack (bridle and saddle) independently.

The stable is just minutes from prestigious shopping centers and within a mile of four highly rated golf courses. Downtown is only fifteen minutes from the beautiful State Capital, the University of Wisconsin, Overture Center, and the famous State Street promenade. Nearby schools include Madison’s(Paul Olson, Jefferson & Memorial), Middleton-Cross Plains schools (West Middleton) & Verona Schools.
Instructors at the stables are selected for their skills and experience with people and the love of the horse.
Be sure to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes in comfortable clothing that allows you to move. Be aware that this is a working stable; therefore, clothing will likely encounter dirt and dust. White or light-colored clothing is not recommended. Check the Proper Attire page. The stables rents helmets.
Horse lovers that stay the whole day must bring their lunch. There is a refrigerator available that you can put things in. Tap water is open at all times. We ask you to get your water bottle.
If the City of Madison declarations a Snow Emergency, power outages, health mandates, or other unforeseen events, our stables follow the city of Madison protocols. We will try to inform you prior too. Our team values your time and feels that it is fair to honor the same policies we hold for our customers.
Please get in touch with your Instructor via email before noon; if possible, on the lesson day, the onset of illness occurs while at the stables; we will separate you from others and ask for your departure.
We have a Restroom at the Stables.
The best to do is face-to-face commutation. The other way is to email neva@lstables.com.
Please inform us before you come about adding another person to the program.
The stable is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, including clothing. Participants are discouraged from bringing personal items beyond what is needed for the day. Please DO NOT bring cell/mobile devices. If you get those items, they will be used on your breaks.
Supply sunscreen and insect repellent before you come to the stables. Our instructors will not be doing that.
The lesson academy horses we teach our horse programs. They vary in skill and temperament from those suited for beginners to those done for riders who compete for national-level for showing competitors.
If you want to come before your Activities, so you are prepared.
