Join in Fun Day(s) of Camps for filled week of horsemanship, games, crafts, and friends. Horse Camp is a horse lovers dream come true! All horses all day. No Experience is necessary for a camper to attend. Campers will receive daily riding lessons, as well as take part in a variety of horse related activities such as horsemanship 101, crafts, games on and off horse back and so much more!
We encourage any one interested in riding to come for a Beginner CLASS! It is a perfect way to meet our horses and staff, if you are unsure about enrolling in Camp come for class and we can help answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Let us introduce your farmer to the magical world of farmstead and self sustainability. Open their eyes to a world full of fresh flower gardens and vegetables, self reliance and conservatism. From planting to harvesting to campers will see how taking care of stables is. Campers will also be introduced to animal husbandry and even have a chance to ride one of our many lesson horses. This summer let your camper have a camp experience that will truly be life changing.

This two hour camp is the perfect amount of time to hang out with the horses. The Horse and Pony Experience helps young children learn the basics of horsemanship and get comfortable on the farm in a fun-filled, family oriented environment.

Throughout the school year and in conjunction with Dane County Calendar we host single day camps that are similar to our Summer Camp Program, however you can choose to attend just one day or multiple days. We are now enrolling for our next Day camps and Pony Camps scheduled. (make that high lighted and go to calendar page) No Experience is necessary for these day camps and there are a perfect introduction to horses for the novice rider, and also excellent extra barn and saddle time for those enrolled in our Riding Program.

Your safety is our First and most important to our horses and us.
Yes our stables is open 6 days a week.Yes, Call for an appointment 608-833-3635. Yes, we have riding Demonstrations through out the year Thursday, Friday & Saturday mornings between 9 a.m. -- Noon. Parents are welcome to come and check the Stables before camp: Either signing up for a lesson or visiting.
Registration is on a first-come, first served basis.
A $350 nonrefundable deposit per week must accompany this form to insure your child a place in the session you have indicated. The final payment is due the first day of the session. If final payment is not made, you will lose your deposit, and Madison Riding Academy may accept a child from a waiting list. All fees must be paid in advance and are not refundable for missed days or sessions.
A written two-week advance notice must be received by the stables to cancel any course (fax, email, and hand-written notices are all acceptable). Failure to submit written cancellation two weeks in advance will result in the liability of all fees paid and owed for that course.
Once registered for camp Madison Riding Academy, parents will receive a confirmation letter with important information about Madison Riding Academy, including program policies. Parents feel free to contact our stables or any of the onsite instructors with questions or concerns.
Their choice of week of sessions at any time up to the end of the business day Wednesday the week prior to which it will take effect. Requests to add or change a course must also be received in writing. (fax, email, and hand-written notices are all acceptable)
La Fleur Stables/Madison Riding Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property, including clothing. Campers are discouraged from bringing personal items beyond what is needed for the day. Please DO NOT bring Cell/Mobil devices or keep in a safe place. During camp time there will be know time for devices to be used unless at breaks.
Riders who stay for the full day need to bring their own lunch. There is a refrigerator available if needed.
Thursday is pizza for the whomever that would like some.

Campers are responsible for supplying and applying their own sunscreen and insect repellent.
Our staff will place the camper in a room and call the parent/guardian with the situation. Please make sure you camper is not allergic to horses, hay, cats, or dogs.
Are selected for their skills and experience with horses and campers.
Extended Hours may arrive 8am and pick up by 4pm. Camp itself is from 9am-3pm.
Must wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Stables has helmets. Dress according to the weather.
All of the horses with which we teach the riding lessons vary in skill and temperament, from those suited for very beginners to those suited for riders who compete nationally. Saddlebreds are the most desired and most commonly used horses in the world for English "Saddle Seat" equitation.
