Calling all 4-H riders, pleasure riders, maiden riders, amateur owners, junior exhibitors, academy riders, and horse lovers!

Do you want to complete a horse show pattern without hauling, traveling, or leaving your barn? 


 Join the Virtual Horse Show Program. 

Submit a video of you and your lovely horse completing the assigned monthly pattern and receive professional critique, placings, and points toward year-end awards.

How is Works

Video Requirements

Virtual Horse Show information and assigned patterns will be released on the 1st Monday of each month.

Riders will have approximately two weeks to practice, prepare, and record their videos.

Entries and videos are due by the 3rd Sunday of each month at 8:00 pm.

Results and critiques will be completed by the morning of the following Thursday.

Patterns will be posted ahead of time so riders have time to practice, prepare, and feel confident before submitting their videos.

Video Requirements

Videos must be no more than 4  minutes or less, each directions. Walk - Trot - Canter.  Please film in good lighting so the horse and rider can be clearly seen. The full horse and rider should stay visible during the video.  Videos must be submitted by the show deadline.

Placings will be awarded from 1st through 6th place in each class.

First-place winners may receive either:

  • A certificate award
  • A ribbon

Points will accumulate throughout the show season and count toward Year-End Awards.

A website banner sponsorship is $60 and runs from January 1 through December 1.

Banner sponsors will have their banner displayed on the Virtual Horse Services website during the membership year.

To be included for the upcoming show year, sponsors are encouraged to submit their information by December.

Academy Division

Academy classes are open to riders presently enrolled in a professionally operated lesson program. Academy riders must be mounted on school horses.

Green Rider Division

A Green Rider is defined as an academy rider in their first calendar year of showing. Riders showing in Green Rider classes may not cross-enter into regular
